Open doors with an internship

If you're serious about pursuing an actuarial consulting career within an employee benefits and investment consultancy, then our excellent internship programme could be just the opportunity you need. It runs between June and August, and internships last for 8 to 12 weeks, supporting actuarial teams with a wide variety of client work.

It means you get hands-on experience in a fully operational client-facing team, working with consultants at all levels of their careers. As well as getting a detailed insight into actuarial consulting work, you'll receive great support for a truly authentic career experience.

About you...

If you're in the penultimate year of your University studies working towards a degree that provides a strong foundation in mathematics, can demonstrate an aptitude for consulting, and have the drive and determination to succeed, then please apply now.

You will need:

• Strong communication skills, demonstrated by at least a GCSE B Grade/ Higher Grade, or equivalent qualification in English.
• A-grade in mathematics at A-Level, 'Higher' or equivalent.
  
• Excellent IT skills.
• A flexible and proactive attitude, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• The ability and willingness to learn, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to high standards, even when working to deadlines.

Previous interns have come from a variety of degree disciplines, including Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Applied Mathematics.
